The band was established in 1997 and since that Pigmill has toured widely in Finland and Sweden. The band has been especially popular among motorcycle and american car enthusiasts. Pigmill´s music is a mix of southern rock and rough blues. It´s heavy enough to satisfy the needs of hard rock fans but it´s also "roots" enough to please especially the friends of roots music. The gig material is wide in variety and is totally adjustable to needs of the audience. It consists both of own and cover songs, half of both. The cover material includes Doc Holliday, ZZ Top, Omar and the Howlers, Point Blank and Johnny Winter among others. The band has just released a long play cd On The Loose which consists of own material.
